Dr J Reddington MB ChB (Liverpool 1989) DCH FP Cert
Dr Jacqueline Reddington (MB ChB DCH FP Cert) is the Senior Partner and joined the Partnership in 1996. Her special interests are Diabetes, Child Health and Sexual Health. She holds a Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health and is about to complete her qualifications to allow her to become a trainer in Sexual Health. She is responsible for the F2 Training and the lead for the Physician Associate trainees.
Dr C Bolton MB ChB (Birmingham 1996) DRCOG FP Cert
Dr Christopher Bolton (MB ChB DRCOG FP Cert) joined the Practice in 2002 and his special interest is in Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine. He is the Practice Lead for prescribing and Research. He is also an F2 (junior doctor) trainer and Supervising Physician to PA's.
Dr L Grant MB ChB (Liverpool 1998) DRCOG MRCGP FP Cert PGCert TLCP
Dr Liam Grant (MB ChB DRCOG MRCGP FP Cert PGCert TLCP) joined the Practice in 2002 and his special interest is Respiratory Medicine. He is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), The Local Medicine Committee (LMC). He is responsible for the Teaching and Supervision of GP Trainee Doctors.
Dr D Mortimer MB ChB (Liverpool 1999) DRCOG
Dr David Mortimer (MB ChB DRCOG) joined the Practice in 2004 and his special interest is in Information Technology (IT). He is the Clinical Lead for IT at NHS Sefton, an IT Consultant to Southport and Formby Clinical Commissioning Group.
Dr T Brettell MB BS (University of London 1999)
Dr Thomas Brettell (MB BS) joined the Practice in 2014. He Qualified from University College London in 1999. He is a local GP Appraiser and has a keen interest in Diabetes.
Dr L Lin MB ChB (Hons) MRCGP (Liverpool 2012)
Dr Luchuan Lin (MB ChB) joined the Practice in 2017 as a salaried GP. She completed her final year GP Training with us and has been a renowned member of the team since.
Dr S Johnson MA BM BCh DRCOG MRCGP Dip Derm
Dr Simon Johnson (MA BM BCh DRCOG MRCGP Dip Derm) joined the Practice in 2005. He is a member of RCGP and has a Diploma in Dermatology. He currently carries out two sessions per week as a GP with Special Interest (GPwSI) in Dermatology.
Mr P Kenton BSc (Hons) PgDip PgDip PA-R LIBMS RSci (Liverpool 2011)
Mr Paul Kenton (BSc (Hons), PgDip, PgDip, PA-R, LIBMS, RSci) joined the practice in 2016. Prior, he worked as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Clinical Biochemistry & Metabolic Medicine in Liverpool, before post-graduate Physician Associate education at Liverpool Medical School as part of the national expansion program. He has a keen interest in clinical biochemistry, endocrinology, medical education and audit. He is Associate Tutor in medical education at a local medical school & currently studying the Doctor of Medical Science-Advanced Clinical Practice (Primary Care) at the University of Lynchburg, USA.
Ms A Jenkinson BSc (Hons) PgDip PA-R (Liverpool 2019)
Ms Abigail Jenkinson (BSc (Hons), PgDip, PA-R) joined the practice as a Physician Associate in 2019. She originally studied an Anatomy and Human Biology degree at University of Liverpool, followed by completion of post-graduate training as a Physician Associate. She is currently developing active interests in female reproductive and sexual health.
Ms S O'Doherty BSc (Hons) PgDip, MSc, PA-R (Liverpool 2019)
Ms Sinead O'Doherty (BSc (Hons), PgDip, MSc, PA-R) joined the practice as a Physician Associate in 2019. She has prior experience in secondary care cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services. She is currently developing specialist interests in nutrition, exercise-physiology, dermatology and cardiology.

Practice Nursing Team
Sister Diane Furnival
Sister Diane Furnival is our Adult Health Visitor and supports our frail elderly population. She does a lot of outreach work for housebound patients and care-home patients. She undertakes home visits, monitoring social isolation and works closely with Third Sector Colleagues to support a number of vulnerable groups and supports safeguarding.
Sister Kate Murphy
Sister Kate Murphy is a Practice Nurse who has worked across the Primary and Secondary Care setting. She has a Background in A&E & District Nursing.
Sister Louise Davies BA (Hons) DipHE
Sister Louise Davies (BA (Hons), DipHE) is a Practice Nurse who has worked extensively in Primary Care. She is new to the practice and brings a wealth of prior experience.
Health Care Assistants (HCA)
The Health Care Assistants support the practice nurses with their daily work. They can take blood, perform ECGs, test urine, measure BP, height & weight and they can also give advice on healthy lifestyles, weight monitoring, and smoking cessation.
Dawn Sixsmith (HCA)
Dawn Sixsmith supports our GP's with specialist long-acting contraceptive clinics and joint injections
Joanne Bennett (HCA)
Joanne Bennett takes the lead on 24-hour blood pressure monitoring.
Amber Standring (HCA)
Amber Standring supports our GP's with HCA activities within the practice. She is also a trainee Physician Associate.
Kim Williams (Acute Care HCA)
Kim Williams supports the acute care team by safely assessing patients presenting at our Freshfield site to ensure the sickest patients can be prioritised if required. she also supports our Physician Associate in cholesterol management.
Mrs Erika Setzu - Pharmacist PharmaD (Hons) PgDip MPhil IP
Mrs Erika Setzu (PharmaD(Hons) PGDipClinPharm MPhil IP) is our Practice Pharmacist. She is a Prescribing Pharmacist and is responsible for supporting the GP's with Medication Reviews.
Mrs Elizabeth Reeves - Pharmacy Technician
Mrs Elizabeth Reeves is our Pharmacy Technician and is responsible for the management of repeat prescriptions and organising the required monitoring of support safe prescribing. She also is responsible for arranging regular blood tests for medication monitoring purposes and also keeps medication reviews up to date as noted on prescriptions.
Extended Clinical Team
The district nursing team work with us to provide nursing care and support to our patients in their own home. The district nurses may be contacted by calling their own office on 01704 387212. Their out of hours number is 01704 531978. The district nurses work closely with the palliative care team where the need arises.
The Practice has an ante-natal clinic every Friday afternoon. Appointments for this can be booked at reception or over the Telephone.
The dieticians can be seen following a referral from the GP. They liaise between the doctors, practice nurses and the hospital in the shared care of patients. Clinics are held at the surgery by appointment.
