Senior Leadership Team
Ms S Lowe Management Partner MPhil (Liverpool 2006)
Ms Susan Lowe (MPhil) the Practice Manager Partner at The Village Surgery, joined the Practice in 2014. Sue has a Master of Philosophy Degree from Liverpool University. She has 43 Years' Experience in the NHS and also has many years of Senior Management experience from Secondary Care. She has successfully completed a number of management training courses including the Clinical Systems Improvement Professional Development Course at Warwick Business School; Warwick University as well as training in Civil Protection and Business continuity from the Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College.
Sue is responsible for overseeing the day to day operational management and all of the financial and business management of the practice. She is also the registered manager for the practice with CQC.
Ms Lisa Roberts
Lisa is the practice manager and supports Ms Lowe with the day to day operational management of the practice. Lisa takes the lead in complaints management, supporting all administrative functions, leading the implementation of new projects and ensuring that practice staffing is well planned and organised to ensure a good level of service is delivered each day by the practice. Lisa also supports the clinical team with the delivery of QOF (Quality Outcomes Framework).
Secretaries and Administration Team
Our secretaries take time to support the team and patients, managing medical referrals, reports and liaising with nearby hospitals. They provide the key link between primary and secondary care and strive to provide all parties with the best network of help and support that they require.
The administration team liaise between Patients and Clinical Professionals and take responsibility to provide essential and necessary care to support all patients, also taking the time to develop further efficient care in order to offer an unprecedented service to all. They also summarise medical records, run clinical reports and organise the in-house clinics.
Mrs Lorraine Bohannon manages the team of receptionists at the practice. Our receptionists provide an vital link for patients with the practice and are your initial point of contact for general enquiries. We have a large team of full-time and part-time reception staff, all of whom are trained to provide a friendly and efficient service to all. They will try to answer all non-medical questions and will deal with each matter with the strictest confidence. They can provide basic information on services, assist in the booking of appointments, take requests for and give out repeat prescriptions and results, direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query.
