Access Sefton is a free service provided through Insight Healthcare and funded by NHS Foundation Trust designed to provide people with a solution when struggling with:
- Low mood
- Relationship Difficulties
It is accessible to everybody aged 16 or above and has therapists with detailed and extensive backgrounds in a wide range of areas. To access this service you can call them between 9:00am - 1:00pm on: 0300 303 2708. Alternatively, you can access their website by clicking here.
Ambition Sefton is also funded by NHS Foundation Trust and aims to provide help and guidance to the people of Sefton dealing with drug or alcohol problems. It offers a wide range of recovery-focused treatment pathways to its service users, including:
- Open Access - walk-in to self-refer
- Community detox access
- Special prescribing and alcohol services
- Take home naloxone
- Blood born virus screening and vaccination
- Harm reduction advice
- Peer support mentoring

Veterans in Mind
A specialist psychological therapy service run by Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH) providing assessment and treatmentacross Cheshire & Merseyside (excluding Liverpool) to military veterans. They provide substance misuse recovery interventions and work alongside our local partners Armed Forces Community Support Hub, Veterans of the Foundation and Veterans in Sefton who provide a wraparound service addressing social, financial, occupational and employment issues.

Kooth (11-18 year olds)
Young people can drop in Mondays and Wednesdays from 3.00-7.00pm for information, support and advice. The Star Centre holds a parent's support drop in on Mondays from 1pm - 3pm and on Tuesdays from 5.15pm - 6.45pm & facilitates a LGBTQ drop in and support group. One to one and group therapeutic sessions are delivered throughout the week and on Saturdays. For further information, click here.
Mental Health Practitioner
The Village Surgery provides a Mental Health Practitioner at appointments located within the Practice site. Carys, the Mental Health Practitioner, has appointments once a month and is available via referral from a medical professional such as your GP.
